35 weeks and 6 days and beyond...

I'm now almost 36 weeks!~

Last Saturday (15/7/17), our church pastor's wife Beth, organised a baby shower for Eric and I. I'm so touched and thankful for Beth and the many ladies that came to help out and make the day so special for us. Beth approached me back 3 months ago, asking if anyone has put their hand up to organise a baby shower for us. I said no, and she eagerly volunteered and start organising from there. What Eric and I did, was basically just came up with a guest list, and a baby shower gift list. And that's it. The rest were all a surprise.

Eric and I thought long and hard on who to invite to the baby shower. Because the baby shower location is located at Beth's house, we don't want to over-burden her house with too many guest. However, with the many people whom we knew and worked with at church, our guest list just grew and grew. So in the end, we invited all our current and past bible study brother and sisters (together with their whole family), plus a few of our close friends from Canberra, Eric's back-in-the-days uni friends, and HJ (my only uni friend that is working in Sydney).

We prayed for a nice sunny day, as the weather leading up was rainy and cold for the past 2 weeks. And thank God for answering our prayers as it was a nice a warm afternoon last Saturday! It's so nice to be able to spread out into the backyard, and let the many children guest run around and for many people to sit in the backyard, enjoying the sunshine. The guest numbers reached about 46 adults and 14 kids! =D

We had a lot of fun, and after the whole event had finished at 5pm, we lug a car full of presents and pass-me-downs from our dear friends. Now, I'm still in the mids of sorting and opening presents. Thank you all for your love for our baby~!

37 weeks. 28/7/17

I'm now 37 weeks! Baby can come out any moment now!!!

I'm weighing 69.1kg. OMG This is really a new record high. I've gained 11 kg since pregnant, and I hope this will stop soon. Last Sunday, after church, Eric and I had a mini-photo shoot session at the front yard of the renovated house. Yes, he used his camera and bump and I are the cute model. =p

This week, Eric was suppose to finish doing the house renovation before the uni starts next week. However, on Monday night, he realised he was called in to student clinic the next day!!!
And then a few lecturers decided to start a week earlier as well. So ended up he has to go uni everyday this week except Thursday. And guess what, Thursday was taken up by picking up MIL from airport. T_T

There goes my plan to move out when MIL returns....
And my stress levels are rising....

Tomorrow will be my last day at work at the IVF clinic. I can't wait to finish work!
However, now that the fact that I'm still living at MIL's place, means that I can't rest at all. Sianz to the max. And the fact that lazy SIL is now coming back home to eat daily (because MIL is back), means that I have to cook for her as well. Double annoyance, because she don't help out, she don't help chip in groceries, and she don't clean up after her cat! Breath in... breath out... We'll be moving out soon... it's ok... just be patient.

Going away later tonight to pick up a pressure cooker.
